Five shortcuts to better results

Martin Hedegaard

When it comes to losing weight, building muscle, or making a lifestyle change, most people go all-in on diet and exercise. It's important to have these factors under control, of course, but did you know that you can easily shortcut your desired results if you focus on nutrition and getting the right vitamins, minerals, and supplements? While it almost sounds too good to be true that you can shortcut your results, it is nonetheless the case. In this blog post, I'll give you five tips on how you can achieve better results by focusing on nutrition, and in particular, nutritional supplements.

Healthy diet and regular exercise are important

Before I give you the five shortcuts, I would like to make it clear that a healthy diet and regular exercise are of course crucial factors if you want to see results. Without these two factors, it is difficult to achieve weight loss, build muscle and lead a healthy everyday life in general. Most people know what they should do when it comes to diet and exercise. But for most people, it becomes difficult and confusing when it comes down to it, because it requires effort, time and planning. Although diet and exercise are two crucial factors, they are not essential for weight loss. If you want to achieve visible results and want it to happen in an easy and manageable way, you should focus at least as much on nutrition and nutritional supplements as on diet and exercise.

Weight loss is about more than just vegetables and protein

Weight loss is not just about the amount of vegetables, carbohydrates, protein and fat you eat. If you make sure you get the right vitamins, minerals and supplements, you will go a long way and are guaranteed visible results. It is important for us to spread this message. Partly because few Danes know how great an effect correct nutrition has, but also because I want to help Danes make it as easy as possible to lose weight. If it is not easy and clear, there is a high risk that it will go wrong. As soon as you shift your focus from grams and calories to vitamins and minerals, you will find that you will see results quickly. In addition, you will have a more relaxing process because you do not have to constantly think about grams, weight and calorie intake.

Poor nutrition can lead to lack of results

Most people who have tried to lose weight have experienced that they cannot see results from their hard work. Even if you have both training and diet under control, it may be because you are not getting the right nutrition. The right nutrition is important, among other things, because B vitamins stabilize carbohydrate metabolism, and because vitamins D and zinc help build muscle.

There's no shame in taking shortcuts.

When you read the above, there is probably a little voice inside you that says that it can't be that "easy" to lose weight or achieve visible results. That's why you will probably be surprised when you hear the following; yes, it can. Since it can be a demanding process to achieve weight loss or build muscle, there is no shame in taking a shortcut. As long as it is the healthy way, of course. And that is when the focus is on consuming the right vitamins, minerals and supplements.

The 5 shortcuts

I promised to give you 5 shortcuts at the top of the post. Here are some of them. What they have in common is that they are some things that are very easy to implement in your everyday life.

Shortcut 1: Vitamins and minerals

The first shortcut is about vitamins and minerals, both of which are necessary for the body. If we eat correctly, we get the vitamins and minerals we need for the body to function optimally. Since it is time-consuming and confusing to check whether you are getting all the necessary nutrients in your diet on a daily basis, it is more manageable to take it as a dietary supplement.

Shortcut 2: Protein Supplements

The second shortcut is about protein. You can increase your protein intake by taking protein supplements. It is important that you focus on “the right proteins”, as there are differences between proteins. In our opinion, “the right proteins” are proteins that contain the right ratio of amino acids. These are found in both animal proteins and vegetable proteins. Since animal proteins contain the most fat, you should go for the vegetable ones. You can take protein supplements in several ways. You can do this by consuming protein powder, which is protein in powdered form. For this purpose, we recommend soy protein because it contains very little fat and is described as being cholesterol-free. We recommend that you drink a nutritional drink for breakfast, so that you get plenty of protein from the earliest hours of the day. You should choose one that, in addition to protein, contains minerals and vitamins and the right amount of carbohydrates.

Shortcut 3: Fiber Supplement

Fiber supplements refer to dietary fiber. It is a good idea to take fiber supplements because they are good for digestion. If digestion is not working, there is not much else in the body that can work. In addition, they make you feel full for longer, which also means that most people tend to eat less. If you want to be sure to consume the 25 to 30 grams of fiber per day that you should have, you should take fiber supplements in the form of powder or tablets.

Shortcut 4: Drink enough water

Drinking plenty of water is also a shortcut to weight loss. In addition, the body needs water to keep the brain working, transport nutrients around the body, remove waste products, lubricate the body's joints, breathe and much more.

Shortcut 5: Fish oil

It is important for the body to get omega 3 fatty acids, which can be found in fish oil, among other things. Omega 3 fatty acids are important for our impulses in the brain, our blood pressure, eyes and the feeling of satiety. It is recommended that you eat good quality fish 2-3 times a week. Since few people do this, you can take a shortcut by eating fish oil as a dietary supplement.
